Situated halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, in the heart of the Garden Route, lies the seaside town of Mossel Bay. A bustling holiday resort in summer and an ideal retreat in winter, Mossel Bay is second only to Hawaii for having the mildest all-year round climate in the world, according to the Guiness Book of Records.
The Point Hotel is built right on the rocks above a huge natural rock pool and overlooks the endless blue expanse of the Indian Ocean. From your balcony you can watch the Humpback and Southern Right Whales or the Dolphins passing. Apart from the safe swimming in the tidal pool, you can also enjoy walking along Mossel Bay's wonderful coast line.
